Animals Asia get a new van from Direct Hygiene

17/03/2010 - Animals Asia Foundation in the UK now have a new van thanks to the generosity of Direct Hygiene Ltd directors Steve Ashcroft & Julie Stock. Donating £10,000 this has allowed the charity to get a new vehicle on the road to help with events and fundraising in the UK. Full story here

Breakspear website changes to MedsafeUK

18/03/2009 (updated) - Hygiene services company Breakspear Limited's website is now shown as Medsafe UK Ltd. Links to the company's old website www.breakspearservices.co.uk are now automatically re-directed to www.medsafeuk.co.uk which was recorded as being registered recently on 6th March 2009 by the same owner of Breakspear, Anthony Cornwall of Cambridge. This move comes at a troubled time for Breakspear Ltd after several county court judgements have been made against the company in 2009.

It is well known in the service industry that many Breakspear Ltd subcontractors have refused to service his clients any more due to bad payments by Breakspear. Clients have been moved in several areas recently to PHS.

PHS takeover Griffin Hygiene

17/12/2008 - PHS, the UK's largest washroom services provider, are believed to have taken over Griffin Enviromental Services Ltd, trading as Griffin Hygiene. We believe that PHS have purchased the Rainford based washroom services company for an undisclosed sum. The Griffin website states "See why hundreds of companies are switching from large national services providers to Griffin for their washroom and feminine hygiene services". They have obviously now capitalised on this by now selling to the largest national in PHS.

Key Hygiene Sell to PHS

10/12/2008 - Key Hygiene Limited have sold out to PHS in early December. Concentrating mainly in the South East, Key Hygiene was only incorporated in April 2006, but has obviously quickly capitialised on its growth by selling to the major national PHS.

Hygienic Hand Dryers (Wessex) in Liquidation

06/11/2008 - Hygienic Hand Dryers (Wessex) Limited ceased trading on October 1th 2008. A meeting of creditors took place on November 6th. Estimates by the directors indicate a deficiency in excess of £1.25 million, including many unsecured trade creditors.

Cleaning Show 2009

PHS continue to grow

01/09/2008 - Financial reports issues by PHS for the year ending 31/03/2008 show increased turnover and profit. Turnover reached £305.8m an increase of 12.5%, while profits increased to £88.2m an increase of 12.33%. Full financial report
